The bank had launched the nCino loan origination system for all commercial lending activities while also integrating the LaserPro document vendor into their existing architecture. However, a disconnect between the lending staff and the bankers on how nCino would be best utilized became evident. Specific aspects of the credit workflow lacked the role clarity needed. Not having clearly defined criteria spawned confusion and inefficiency when working with these new tools.
